About Durham Driving School
Welcome to Durham Driving School providing professional driving lessons throughout County Durham, Birtley and Washington for many years now.
We understand that the requirements of each student are different which is why our instructors will provide you with a personalised plan aimed at giving you all the skills you need to pass your driving test.
We offer a range of weekly or single driving lessons as well as a number of block booking deals to save you money getting you passed and on the road.
Frequently asked questions
What do I need to do before taking lessons?
Before undertaking any driving lessons we expect you to be of legal age to drive and hold a valid provisional driving license. You must also be able to read an old style number plate at 20.5 metres (20 metres for new style plates).
Are all your drivers licensed by the DVSA?
Yes, all our instructors are fully licensed by the DVSA to carry out driving lessons.
How many lessons will I need to pass my test?
This varies greatly from person to person. Whilst we want you to pass your test in the least amount of time we want to ensure you are ready to take your test at the right time. Your driving instructor will keep you updated on your progress throughout your lessons with us.
Can I make block bookings?
Absolutely, in fact the more you book in one go the more you save.
What areas do you provide driving lessons?
We provide driving lessons throughout the County Durham area as well Birtley and Washington. Contact us or send us a message via messenger if you want any further information.
We want to make sure managing the journey to passing your driving test is as easy as possible. Which is why we offer a free Apple and Android app to monitor your progress, manage your lessons, payments and more.
